I am Aaron.
I have extensive training in various enlightenment traditions and energy systems, most notably Mahayana Buddhism, Tantric Yoga, Taoism and South American Shamanism. I combine this knowledge with a lifetime as a wordsmith, philosopher, theater-maker and nature-enthusiast to help every sister and brother I collaborate with discover her/his own path.
I named my online home Forever Marvel because I believe that everything we seek is right here right now, if only we can turn toward what is with sincerity, reverence, and curiosity.
If you dig around in the blog posts you'll find more about that as well as:
meditation guidance to bring clarity and insight to the mind
physical exercises to generate greater stability and ease
energy practices to cleanse and recalibrate your system
breath + voice work to restore emotional balance
ceremony to harmonize your rhythms with Mother Nature's
inquiry to elucidate your unique path, your particular obstacles and your phenomenal strengths
You can explore my group teaching options on the events page or reach out to me for individual mentoring.
Though my medicine bag is full of various cures for various ailments, my purpose is always the same. To direct you back inward to the Self--that birthplace and resting place of all truth, wisdom and love.
Aaron is the real deal. She doesn't need to make herself seem like more than she is but knows and honors who she is and what she's here to do. I find that a great teacher is always learning, and even beyond all the work she's put into her practice and the many traditions she's studied very thoroughly, she's incredibly interested in hearing about her students' experiences. I think part of this is to better be of service, but I also get the sense that her curiosity and wonder help her stay forever a student and she's wise enough to know she can learn something at all times. She's so easy to relate to, she funny, she's kind, and she's devoted deeply to her mission. I find it incredibly important to find teachers that you trust, and with Aaron that came almost immediately.

Aaron brings the magic. She's 100% invested in pursuing truth, not just in an airy-fairy way, but in a studied, meticulous way. And she has her finger on the magic of the unseen worlds... and will help point you there.

Aaron, you are so dedicated to these ideas and these practices. I've seen you go through the struggles, and I trust you. You have truly lived what you're teaching. Then you've taken what are really quite esoteric ideas and you've figured out a way to share them with others who haven't studied as deeply as you have. I came away feeling like I had learned something. I had heard or practiced much of it, but it came together in this past month in ways that hadn't happened for me before. You're a true teacher.

Ok, so I’m happily skeptical and am not really an easy “joiner” but, without a doubt, completely and fully and for several years now, Aaron has been my teacher and a key spiritual guide. She’s my homegirl along with Pema and Thich Nhat Hahn and Joseph Campbell and sages I hold dear.
What you get with Aaron is inspired, non judgemental, unstuffy, focused and flexible, smart as a whip guidance on your spiritual journey. She is studied and informed and puts in work. She’s deeply kind, funny and humble, dedicated and modern, relatable, transparent and deeply trustworthy.
In working with Aaron I’ve found liberation from sticky depression, some deeply grooved patterns of thinking, and unhelpful habits. I’ve become more serious in my practice and less serious in my personal life. I’m easier, I feel more humble and full of wonder. I’m happier. I’m grateful and connected. I’m more resourceful and resilient, less flappable. I have tools to see myself in others and others in myself.

For anyone who is even thinking of starting to meditate, you must study with Aaron. I am a 60 year old who has always been reluctant to try meditation but I must say, now I am hooked. Aaron communicates in easy understandable inspirational language, and her online course made the practice very accessible for me. Every week we got a beautifully guided meditation led by Aaron, followed by thoughts and tools to build our meditation practice.
Since I started, I have been meditating twenty minutes daily. I am feeling less anxious and calmer. I am learning to handle stress more effectively using my breathing techniques and visualizations I’ve learned from her. Aaron is filled with love and exudes that with all who study with her. I am so grateful to Aaron for introducing me to meditation.

Aaron stands out among a sea of other yoga instructors. While she makes room for all skill levels (I'm a beginner), she manages to provide opportunities for challenge and growth in a refreshingly non-judgmental environment. I leave the studio feeling stronger, wiser, and more capable than when I entered. Her music choices are stellar--veering towards indie, her instruction is nuanced yet concrete, and her gentle adjustments have transformed my approach. Aaron is clearly a passionate and true practitioner, and her technical and spiritual knowledge is evident. She does not phone it in, allowing the classes to evolve in tone and energy, regularly introducing new music, poses and themes...yet somehow invariably providing exactly what I need in that moment. Her classes are a gift.

What is wonderful about Aaron's classes, other than everything, is her pacing and the sequences of the poses. Always, I come away having done more than I thought I could. At the same time I am never exhausted, only energized and invigorated. Week by week, I feel stronger and more confident. Her talks are simple, clear, easy to listen to and good to think about. One has a feeling of focus, seriousness, even sacredness without pomposity.
