This retreat is mostly held in silence, with inspiring and intuitive guidance being offered by two master teachers: Aaron Dias on the meditation practice + Ariel Kiley on the human body.

Have you ever felt totally whole, harmonious, content? Like there is nothing missing to grasp after, and nothing extraneous to be shoved away?

In the opening lines of Patanjali's foundational yogic text, the Yoga Sutras, he says that this is an experience of your true nature--svarupa. If you have been feeling overly fractured or fatigued, especially dissonant or desperate, then perhaps it's time to get back to what you really are. Perhaps it's time to (re)discover your true nature.

Meditators have always retreated into the natural world in order to touch the deepest wisdom within. A natural environment is the ideal outer mirror for an inner experience of healthy, vibrant, cooperative completeness. In between group meditation and movement sessions, Aaron and Ariel give you lots of time to wander the woods, ponder the sky and splash through the streams on your own.

You will be amazed by what can be healed and revealed when you fall back into the quiet embrace of your own truth.

Pumpkin Hollow is a stunning space. Ingredients for the delicious, vegetarian meals are sourced from their garden. You'll have lots of time for walking the lush 130-acre property and, if it's warm enough, for swimming in the river!

For NYC folks: we organize a ride-share among retreat members, but taking the Amtrak train to Hudson, NY is also an option.

Through her guided meditations and talks, Aaron will be helping you to recognize and release obstacles to your meditation practice.

Ariel will be teaching two heavenly movement sessions per day, meant to balance out time spent in seated meditation, and to help us discover the body as the perfect vehicle for achieving more healthy and enlightened states of consciousness.
